Spittlywood Ltd is a bespoke joinery company based in Ashford, Kent, specialising in quality installations: wooden staircases, Accoya windows and doors, fitted wardrobes, conservatories and handmade furniture.
Services are provided to the private and residential market, and direct to building companies. Our highly experienced team have the knowledge and skills for both major commercial and small private installations.

How we work
From sketch to installation
Design
Traditional methods, modern drawings
Our joiners use time-honoured traditional methods hand in hand with modern design software. That lets the team produce technical drawings or CAD designs of your proposed installation before anything is cut.
Manufacture
Made in our own workshop
Everything is manufactured in our Ashford workshop. Each measurement must be exact, because attention at this stage is what makes the installation fit. The team still make staircases the old fashioned way, by hand.
Timber
Choosing your wood
Customers often visit because they want to choose wood by sight and touch. A new installation is frequently a once in a lifetime purchase, so it matters that you are entirely satisfied with the look and feel of what you pick. We will happily advise on which timber suits your project.
Installation
Fitted by our own team
The final installation is carried out by our own expert installers. This in-house approach is what makes the finished piece match the drawing. All staff are fully insured, and we work across Kent, London and the South East.
